Use RFIDs to Identify Lots - Resolving Box-ups
Introduction
In some cases it may be necessary to scan tags and identify which lots they belong to in order to separate cattle after a box up. You can use Stockyard to scan the tags and identify the animals and their associated lot, stock type, purchaser, and purchaser way.
Using Stockyard to Identify Lots by RFID
- Open your sale
- Go to "Special Features" and select 'Check RFIDs Scan'
- Run stock past the connected RFID scanner and inspect the results on-screen. You will see the RFIDs as they come through, and they will identify which lot they belong to as well as which purchaser and purchaser way they were sold to.

- Once you have identified the animals and their corresponding lots and purchasers - you will be able to resolve any box-ups or potential issues
