Please ensure Live Entry is closed while connecting the device.

On the Tru-Test XR5000

• Turn on the Tru-Test XR5000
  
• Go to Settings > Information to display and record and untick all options. 

• Navigate to Bluetooth and devices

• Click Add Device 

• You may need to click Show all devices to select the device

• Select the device, click connect 
  

      

1. A message will appear 'Your device is ready to go!'
   
2. Click Done
   
3. The Tru-Test XR5000 will now be connected to the computer.
   

• Scroll down to More Bluetooth settings

• Options tab - ensure 'Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC' is ticked.

• Select COM Ports tab and make note of the Outgoing COM Port number
  
  

•  Close both Bluetooth windows

In Stockbook

• Go to the Electronic Id
  

• Click Setup
  

     

       

1. From the scales dropdown select Tru-Test XR5000 
   

• Select Manual Setup

• Select the COM Port number that was noted during the Bluetooth connection process

In Live Entry

• Go to the Live Entry home page. 
  

1. Select the template you wish to use
   
2. Click Stat Live Entry
   
3. The 0.0 indicates the XR5000 scale is successfully connected and ready to use.
