Socket Error
Receiving a
"Socket Error 10060"
(numbers may differ) when trying to backup up to or restore from Data Warehouse
Steps to correct this error:
1. Ensure you are on the latest version. You can do this by going in Stockbook to
Help > About.
The version number is at the top of the window.
2. Check your anti-virus.
Add Stockbook
as an exception or disable while trying to use Data Warehouse. You can do an internet search on how to do this.
