Recording animal weights

Adding weights to animals in Stockbook:

 1. Adding Weights to a group of animals

1. Select the animals for which you wish to record a weight
   
2. Click  Events 
   
3. Click Weighing 
   
4. Click OK

2. Entering weights on a single animal 

Find the required animal on current animal listing. Click on the blue  Weight   tab at the bottom of the screen. Click on  Add . Enter the following details: Weighing date in dd/mm/yyy format. Weight Type : every weight must be associated with a type for reporting and analysis purposes. Select a type from the dropdown list. You may add a new type via the  +  button. Weight in kg. A management group for any animal that received special treatment prior to weighing. Herd Identifier if required. A shrinkage factor, if required, so that the entered weight is reduced by the entered percentage when it is stored in the database. Click on the  OK  button   to accept data, or click Cancel/Exit to abort the procedure. Article ID 1183
