For Empty animals you will need to enter a zero '0' - Do not leave the field blank

  1. For Basic Recording (Pregnant / Empty) simply check/uncheck the Pregnant Column indicating a basic Pregnant/Empty result

NOTE*** You cannot use the basic Pregnant check box if you are using Recorded In - Once you select the Recorded In you will see the Pregnant Column is unavailable to edit manually. See below image

  1. Select the relevant Test Type options - Scan / Manual / Both

  2. Choose the relevant Sire option Unknown / Specific Sire / Calculate
The way the program will calculate the Sire is dependent on what data you have entered for each animal and joining

If you are using the Calculate option select the relevant From Join option - For this to work, relevant joining's must be in Stockbook
The 2nd-last (AI) refers to the second last joining in this period which is normally the AI joining.
The Last (Backup)  refers to the last joining in this period which is normally a back-up bull, which has been used after any AI

If you are using the Defaults for Days/Weeks or Months you will enter the figure in the applicable field. This figure does not show in the table, however once you process the Pregnancy Test Event the information will record correctly against the animals.
If you have Empty animals you need to record them with a '0' to record the Empty status. The Default will not override the '0'

  1. Once you have filled in the relevant Preg Testing information and are happy everything is accurate, Press OK

  2. Click on the Yes button to confirm setting the pregnancy status

  3. Click Yes to the Event Complete Information Box

  4. Once the Preg Tests have been completed you will be able to see the Animals Status' have changed to reflect the newly created pregnancy status' and you can view the Pregnancy Tests in the Joining's module

AI and Hand Mate: Conception date can be +/- 14 days of the joining date.
