Pedigree Only Animals

A Pedigree Only Animal is one that is entered solely for record/pedigree purposes
  1. The animal is not physically on the property, but is used in the pedigree of one that is.
  2. You can only create animals as Pedigree Only at their initial point of entry into Stockbook. If you require an existing animal/s to be marked as Pedigree Only, you need to complete a Disposal and set the reason as Pedigree Only.
Pedigree Only  Animals do not show up on the Active Animal List 
They will show up when the "Include Inactive" option is selected

Add a New Animal as Pedigree Only

To add a new animal as Pedigree Only:

  1. Click on the "Add" button at the bottom of the Animal Screen to add the animal.
  2. Enter the details of the animal.
  3. Tick the "Pedigree Only" box at the bottom right of the Add New Animal screen.
