Laptop Requirements for Live Entry

Some clients are wary of the type of laptop that they purchase to use in the yards. They are concerned that some may not be tough enough with resistance to dust and being dropped and also enquire a lot about the space required on a laptop.

There are no specific requirements for the type of laptop that we recommend as most standard laptops are good enough but below are a few guidelines:

  • 4-8GB Storage.
  • A laptop will perform faster the higher the RAM and if it has a 'solid state drive'.
  • Rob has an ACER laptop with 4GB memory and a 500GB hard drive.
  • Touchbooks are good but EXPENSIVE and a normal laptop can be just as durable.
