How to restore from a USB
Restoring data from a USB or external hard drive to Stockbook.
Step 1.
Select the right
Society
and
Livestock type
You will need to ensure you are in the right
Society
and
Livestock Type
if you operate more than
one database.
These are displayed at the top of the screen.
Step 4.
Insert
USB flash/memory stick
or similar device into the
USB port
in your computer/laptop
Step 5.
Select the driver
-
Select the
Driver
(eg. E:) in which the backup is located
-
Click on the OK
button
Step 6. Select the most recent Backup
-
The most recent
Stockbook backup
will appear at the top of the list of available files
-
Click to
highlight
your required
backup
file
-
Click on the Restore
button
Step 7.
Click
Yes
to the Confirm message:
