How do I set a green stick as slave?

Setting a Green Stick as Slave

Setting an Allflex green stick reader,  Bluetooth settings so it pairs correctly with Stockbook

 

When using Stockbook and reader in unison, Stockbook always has to be the controlling device, i.e. the master.

The reader is reading the data and passing it directly to Stockbook for collection and storage of data.

 

With the reader powered on:

Step 1. Showing Menu

Press the black button for over 3 seconds to see the Menu.

 Step 2. Bluetooth Settings

  • Press the green button to scroll down to Bluetooth settings
  • Press the black button to select

Step 3. Checking if Bluetooth is Enabled 

If Bluetooth is Enabled On, Go To Step 4.
  • Press the green button to scroll to On/Off.
  • Press the black button to select.
  • Check to make sure your Bluetooth is enabled. (Arrow next to Disabled or Enabled indicates if your Bluetooth is Off or On, respectively, i.e. >Enabled your Bluetooth is on.)
  • If Bluetooth is enabled, press the black button to go Back to return to previous screen and Go To Step 4.
  • If Bluetooth is disabled, press green button to scroll to Enabled. Press black button to select. Go To Step 1.

 Step 4. Selecting Device

  • Press the green button to scroll down to Select device.
  • Press the black button to select.

 Step 5. Selecting Slave option

  • Press the green button to scroll down to Slave.
  • Press the black button to select.
