Hotsync not Transferring Data to Stockhand
If the Hotsync only puts the demo data onto Stockhand and the Update/Skip prompt never appears please try the following steps:
Step 1. Exit Hotsync
Close Hotsync by right clicking on the icon and clicking Exit
Step 2. Reopen Hotsync
Open Hotsync again, but run as Administrator; and
To run as Administrator simply go to the shortcut, right-click on it and select Run as Administrator
Step 3. Add Exception to Anti-Virus
Add Stockhand and Stockbook to your anti-virus exceptions. You can do an internet search on Google to find out how to do this or call your IT service.
