Export Days to Calving Mating to Breedplan

 The following steps outline the process to either export days to calving or fate data to Breedplan. 


  • Click on  File > Export Options > Days to Calving Mating \ Fate Export menu option.


 
Select Mating Data as the Export Data Type
  • Click the Save button to choose the location to nominate where the file is to be saved.
  • Enter the correct dates for the start and end of joining period.
  • Select OK 

      

A list all of the eligible Dams to be added will show on the screen.
  • Click the Back button to edit the Dam list.
  • This will take you back to Step 3 to edit the dates for joining period.
  • If the Dam list is correct, click on the OK button to continue the export.

      

 Note the location of the file. You will need to know this when sending the file to Breedplan at a later date.
  • Click on the Yes button.
  • Click on the OK button.

NOTE:
It is important that once the CalfDays.dat file has been created, it is not opened. Opening this file will alter the way it is formatted and the Breedplan software will not be able to read it.
