Connecting Device - YardsTech Reader and Scale

Connecting the YardsTech Reader

The YardsTech reader will read if the scale is connected.

At this stage we cannot enter an IP address for the reader.

YardsTech phone App

The client will need the Yards Tech App on their phone.

Now Go to Setup > Connections > locate the reader > select BT

In Stockbook

          Select Electronic Id tab > Setup

          Select Gallagher HR4/5 Reader from the drop-down menu

          The reader will now be connected.

  

YardsTech Scale

Go to the computer Wi-Fi

Select YardsTech and select connect always (it will say not connected).

In Stockbook

          Select Electronic Id tab > Setup

          Select YardsTech Scales from the drop-down menu

          Select Manual Setup

          Type the following IP address: 192.168.4.1

The scale will now be connected.

 

 Note:

The client will need the Yards Tech App on their phone for any calibration or adjustment to the scale and for connecting a non yardsTech reader to the scale.

To ZERO the Scales from within Live Entry click the Scale Weight box. It may take a couple of seconds to zero out.
