Deleting Animals

1. To Delete an Animal

• Click on the Animals icon on the toolbar.
  
• Select the animal you wish to delete. A green background means you have selected the animal.
• Click on the Delete button.
  

 

• Click Yes to the following Confirm message

If the animal to be deleted is related to another animal in Stockbook, either current or archived animal, it will not delete.

• After clicking Yes the animal list will refresh and the animal should be gone.
  

2. Delete Multiple Animals

There may be rare occasions when you need to delete several animal simultaneously, e.g. if you have done a multi-add with the wrong identification. Rather than having to delete each animal individually, it may be simpler to delete them all and start again.

1. Select the animals you want to delete 
   
2. Click Utility > Multi-Delete Animals 

• Click Yes to the Confirm message
