Default Printer

Stockbook requires a default printer to be set.

No Default Printer

An error message may occur saying there is 'No Default Printer'. To rectify this a default printer will need to be set.

Windows 11

Go to Start
Search Bluetooth and other devices


Scroll down to More devices and printer settings



Right click on the printer that is usually used for printing and select "Set as default printer"
If no printer is available select Microsoft Print to PDF as the default printer.


The printer set as default will now have a green tick. 


Windows versions less than Windows 11

For anything less than windows 11 
Go to the Start menu of your computer
  1. Select Control Panel
  2. Open the Control Panel
  3. Select  Devices and Printers or Printers and open
  4. Right click on the printer you wish to set as the default printer and select Set as default printer from the list of options.
