Connecting Te Pari drench gun (WITH YardsTech Scale)

Setup YardsTech Scales:

Turn Scales on: hold down the power button until both lights are displayed.

Phone Setup:

1. Ensure your mobile device is on the same WiFi network as your YardsTech Scales

2. Open the YardsTech app

3. The YardsTech scale should appear in available devices

4. Select the setup (gear) icon

5. Select Connectivity

6. Under "Wifi Connection Type", select "This device is a WiFi hotspot/Access Point"

7. Under Device Connectivity Names" set the 'Wifi SSID' to YARDTECH

      a. Note: the 's' from YardsTech has been dropped, so as to keep the SSID only 8 characters and it MUST be all upper case

8. Select Apply Changes

Enable drench gun in the YardsTech app:

1. Select the Drench Gun button > tick on Enable Drench Gun

2. Make sure the drench gun IP field is blank

3. Enter the volume per unit of weight* > Select Apply Changes

4. Restart the scales once the settings have been applied

*Eg. If you want to apply 1ml per 10kg, then enter the value as 0.1 ie. 0.1ml per kg. This will need to be configured every time the product/dosage amount is changed. 

Te Pari Gun Setup:

Turn on the gun by pressing the power button (red square in picture)

1. Press menu (green square in picture) x3

2. Pause and press menu again > Use the arrows to select the tick > press menu

3. WiFi Mode: Te Pari app > press menu

4. DG SSID: Te Pari

5. WiFi security: Select X > press menu

6. Wait for 'sond option' display to disappear

Connect the drench gun to your device's wifi:

1. On your device > open Network and Internet

2. Show available networks

3. Select Te Pari (tick connect automatically)

Open Stockbook

1. Select Electronic Id > Setup > From the drop-down menu under Drench/Injection Gun select 'Te Pari G20'

2. Manual Setup > IP: 10.10.10.1 > Ok

Note: 

The circle next to 'Drench/Injection Gun' in Stockbook should now be green

The WiFi symbol on the Te Pari drench gun will now be lines (these will disappear when you exit out of this window - this is normal!)

Product Setup

Application rate has been set in the FarmXL app and therefore no dosage rate should be set in Stockbook.

Start Live Entry
Ensure the Data Entry template is setup correctly with treatment and batch number.

Dosage will automatically load on the gun's screen (plus fill the SB display window) when a weight locks on the scale. 

The WiFi symbol on the Te Pari drench gun will now be a solid symbol.
