Changing the TAG TYPE of Gallagher readers in the APS Software
When I scan a tag on my Gallagher reader it is coming up with leading characters eg. LA 982......
Step 1.
If you have the APS software on your computer, open it up, if you don't please download it from the Gallagher Website.
Step 2.
In the APS software got to Configure > Device and connect your device either via Bluetooth or Cable.
Step 3.
Once you have selected your reader, click on Advanced under the device menu and change the following settings.
Tag Field Delimiter: space
initial character: NONE
Tag Type ID: NONE
Step 4.
Once the settings are correct click on the Tick and then click the Double Arrow button.
