Change Date and Time Format Windows 7

Click the Start button in the lower-left corner of the screen, or press the Windows logo key on the keyboard
Click the Control Panel
Region and Language option
Make sure Format is English (Australia)
Make sure Short date is dd/MM/yyyy
Click Apply
Click OK
WINDOWS 8 & 10
Search for Control Panel
Under Clock, Language, and Region (or Regional Settings), click on Change date, time, or number formats
iii. Ensure that the Format (region) is set to English(Australia)
iv. Change the Short date format to d/MM/yyyy or dd/MM/yyyy
v. Click Apply, and the changes take effect immediately
vi. Click OK
