Bulk Change - Delete Observation/Change Dates, Obs. Code, Herd or Flock
When using Stockbook, sometimes the need arises to change a certain piece of information over an entire group of animals. To do this you should use the 'Bulk Changes' feature. This allows you to select a group of animals and change a piece of information for the entire group, without having to do each animal individually.
The following steps will show you how to delete observation codes, change dates and observation codes and herds
A bulk change cannot be 'Undone' . Please ensure you do a backup before doing any bulk changes Step 1. Select the animals to be changed by going to:
- Main Animal Screen
- Filter
Step 2. Select the Utility > Bulk Changes > Delete Observation/Change Dates, Obs. Code, Herd menu option
Step 3. Select the following information
Select from the Data Type options
Select from the Change Type options
Enter the Current Date of the observations
Only observations taken on this date will be changed. - Click on the Yes button
