Attaching a Photograph to a Current Animal
How do I attach a photograph to an animal on the current animal list
Each animal may have a photograph linked/attached to it:
All animal photos need to be saved to a specific location and folder on their computer as a .bmp or .jpeg format.
Each photograph linked/attached to an animal is actually stored in that specific location mentioned above, not in Stockbook itself.
Do not change storage location of photograph, or link will be broken.
Step 1. Select the Animal
Click on Animals toolbar icon.
Find the animal on the Current Animal list.
Click on the Animal. If it is highlighted in Dark Green, it is selected.
Step 2: Click on the blue Photo tab at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: In the Photograph window:
Click on the Load button
Step 4: In the Search for Images window:
Select the photograph from your photograph folder
Photo file type must be in Bitmaps (.bmp) or JPEG format.
Click on the Open button
The photograph will appear in the Photograph window.
Step 5: Click on the Save button
To remove a link between the photo and the animal:
- Find the animal on the current animal list
- Click on the blue Photo tab
- Click the Remove Link button
- Click Yes to the Confirm message: 'Are you sure that you want to remove the link to this photograph?'
- Click Cancel/Exit to close the screen
