Removing Remittance Advice Details on Invoices

Remittance Advice Details on the invoice can be customised to suit various needs.  The standard set up of Stockyard provides your postal address and bank details at the bottom of any invoices generated in the Livestock or Accounting module.  This space can be slightly customised to have either the:
1.  Generic postal address and bank details removed and/or replaced with a limited amount of desired information.
2.  Extra information added that might be need regarding payment of sales etc

A: In Livestock

If you already have a sale generated that needs the remittance advice removed:
  1. Click on the Sale button
  2. Click on the Sale Type button
  3. Select Report Parameters and follow the details as per below.  Otherwise go to the Sale Type Maintenance screen of the first sale type to get started.

To remove the Remittance Advice Section from an Invoice for all Sale Types:

Go to the Sale Type Maintenance screen of the first sale type (or the Sale if a sale has already been generated).
  1. Select Report Parameters button


  2. Find the invoice in the list report list.
  3. Click into the Unique Process field of the Invoice and change it to Single Space.
  4. Click on Cancel to save the setting, Close the Sale Type Maintenance screen, click Save in the Sale Maintenance screen.
  5. Click on Report and generate an invoice to check your details have been removed.


If this change is going to be applied for all Sale Types, click the button at the top to apply it to all sale types to save you from doing this for every sale.

B: In Accounting

To Remove the Remittance Advice Details in the Accounting Module

  1. Go to System > Maintenance on the Accounting Module home screen
  2. Click on Accounting Proxy



  3. On the right-hand side under Statement Type, click on the dropdown arrow to select Statement Remittance Advice.
  4. Change it from Bottom Remittance to No Remittance.


  5. Click OK to save.
  6. Go to Journals.
  7. Select a payment journal you would like to print a Debit Note for and open it.


  8. Generate the invoice to check they are no longer there.
